Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor adventure that is happening all the time, all around the world, like a treasure hunt, where players go out into the wild to find these cleverly hidden containers called geocaches using satellite GPS navigation. There are over 3 million geocaches in 190 countries waiting to be discovered - some near you right now. Geocaches come in all different shapes, sizes and difficulties and are hidden in both rural and urban settings.

A geocaching event is a gathering of geocachers who come together to do a lot of fun activities around geocaching, or to just simply chat and meet others. The Tenterfield Event will include the first geocaching train ride in Australia, exclusive Quoll HQ tours, breakfast lunch and dinner events, lots of cache games, goodie bag and much much more, timed to intersperse with Tenterfield Autumn Festival activities.
